In the meantime, the excavators have dug a construction pit where the new police station for Bad Godesberg will be built. Around 90 police officers will work here on three floors plus a staggered storey.
The police station is part of the "Kottentor" construction project. In total, Garbe is realising around 70 flats, a day-care centre as well as office and commercial space on the 8,700 square metre site next to the police station. "The complexity makes the project particularly appealing. It's almost like building a small miniature city. It means a lot of work, but it's just as much fun," says Ivo Gotsche from the Garbe management.
