A diverse mixture of creative forms of living and working is created at Baakenhafen.
The approx. 6,650 m² construction site 82 has an outstanding location with its location directly adjacent to Gerda-Gmelin-Platz and close to the underground station "Hafen-City Universität". The construction site was divided into several plots, each of which is planned for different uses.
On the western site, 60 "co-living residential units" are being built, a special form of living that offers various communal areas for the owners. 15 subsidised rental apartments are planned on the directly adjacent property.
In the middle, the "Halbinsulaner" building association is planning low-price freehold flats and office space.
On the eastern construction site at Gerda-Gmelin-Platz, we are planning an innovative utilisation concept on the ground, mezzanine and terp floor with the "Marktplatz der Manufakturen". In addition to shop/workshop areas, which are oriented towards the Versmannstrasse and Gerda-Gmelin-Platz as public-oriented uses, the concept provides for an event and exhibition area, a room suitable for seminars and a restaurant area. Above this, 45 subsidised apartments and 48 freely financed rental apartments on the water side are planned. All components will be accessible via an underground car park.
