There are no palm trees outside the TREPTOWER ZWILLINGE – but in Schmollerplatz, there is a real park to be enjoyed. Between the two buildings, there is also a small city square. It connects the development with the park and the surrounding neighbourhood. This creates an oasis in a traditional Berlin district with plenty of meeting space for play and recreation and an unrestricted view for its inhabitants.

The land at 27 Schmollerplatz is currently still occupied by a single storey former ‘GDR grocery store’; the demolition is set to begin in the third quarter of 2015.

The land is extremely well suited to residential development and the creation of new living space. On the one hand, the redevelopment will encompass the green space on Schmollerplatz, which will create an attractive aspect. On the other hand, as the buildings will be positioned in the middle of the existing residential area, an attractive urban space will be created around the cluster of trees on the site.

In addition to the quality of the architecture, an ideal layout is planned for the site, with efficient 2-5 room apartments which will be suitable for families.

The first of the apartments, which will range in size from approx. 55 m² (2 rooms) to 125 m² (5 rooms), will be ready to move in to in the second quarter of 2017.
