There are no palm trees outside the TREPTOWER ZWILLINGE – but in Schmollerplatz, there is a real park to be enjoyed. Between the two buildings, there is also a small city square. It connects the development with the park and the surrounding neighbourhood. This creates an oasis in a traditional Berlin district with plenty of meeting space for play and recreation and an unrestricted view for its inhabitants.
The land at 27 Schmollerplatz is currently still occupied by a single storey former ‘GDR grocery store’; the demolition is set to begin in the third quarter of 2015.
