Bad Godesberg, 05.07.2019
Together with the newly elected vice district mayor Nicole Unterseh and approx. 80 guests, GARBE today laid the foundation stone for the 100+ project in Bad Godesberg. On the 4,544 m2 property, 48 condominiums are being built - with their own park. GARBE expects to complete the first units at the end of 2020, and the work should be completed in the first quarter of 2021. In addition, a highly efficient groundwater heat pump provides heat in a sustainable and resource-saving way.

In her welcoming address, Nicole Unterseh (Die Grünen) emphasised the relief effect for the housing market and the contribution to environmental protection: "The new building creates urgently needed living space in Bonn. It is good that the different apartment sizes open up possibilities for different forms of living together, so that there are solutions for people living alone, but also enough space for families with children. In addition, the groundwater heat pump supplies emission-free and environmentally friendly energy".

"100+ stands not only for the house numbers 100-110, but above all for the all-round carefree package that the property offers: the Rhine and the Siebengebirge as neighbours, urban diversity, but also places of retreat such as the Kurpark just a few metres away. A highlight is the approx. 1,000 m ? large, park-similar garden, which the owners can use exclusively privately ?, said Ivo Gotsche, attorney of the Garbe real estate projects GmbH and director of the regional office North-Rhine/Westphalia. Gotsche also praised Bad Godesberg as an attractive, friendly place with an impressive history and a promising future and added: "We are delighted to be able to make a contribution to the further urban development of this special location".

Fabian von Köppen, Managing Director of GARBE Immobilien-Projekte GmbH, comments on the development of 100+: "The project is an ideal addition to our portfolio and pays full tribute to our goal of developing energy-efficient buildings with modern and spacious architecture. We have accompanied 100+ from the beginning after we were able to acquire the property at the end of 2016. Therefore, we are all the more delighted to celebrate the laying of the foundation stone together with the team and our guests".

An L-shaped building is being constructed on the site - one part with three storeys, the other with five full storeys. In addition, a staggered storey will be placed on both of them. This creates enough space for 23 two-room apartments, 15 three-room apartments and ten four-room apartments, which are between 52 m2 and 123 m2 in size. All apartments are fully equipped with high-quality parquet and stone tiled floors, balconies and terraces as well as bathtubs and showers.

To make the garden look like a park, Garbe does without fences. Instead, hedges border the property. Although trees had to be felled for the playground, 30 new trees, such as rock pears, wooden apples, hawthorns and summer lime trees, provide a balance and supplement the grown tree population.
