The Campus Tower is one of the most striking buildings in HafenCity. A 16 storey building, which is characterised by the prominent glass boxes on the façade of the tower with an elongated transom at the side, blends together the Baakenhafen district and to the east it connects the HafenCity University to the Wissens district. The Lohsepark boarders the building to the north and the Himmelsberg, from the Baakenhafen district, rounds out the list of neighbouring buildings. The subway station “HafenCity Universität is just outside the door.

We would like to thank all the project members, planners and contractors for engaging in this collaborative partnership. Our combined efforts resulted in the project being completed before construction was due to finish.
What could be better than a topping out ceremony on a glorious day in autumn? Our investors, buyers, planners and construction tradespeople helped us celebrate the topping out of our “On Board” housing construction project in Baakenhafen, beside the HafenCity University.
After Fabian von Köppen gave a short speech in which he extended a heartfelt thank-you to all those involved in the project, the traditional topping out address was given by the carpenter and then the topping out wreath was raised. This was followed by a convivial gathering, enjoyed by all in attendance. The event proved to be the perfect opportunity for a lively discussion between all those involved in the project. Many buyers took advantage of the event to view the finished shell of their future flats. We see their happy faces as positive feedback, and this motivates us to continue to do our best every day.
